Wall Tiles Style Inspiration For June 2016
Once upon a time, if you where shopping for wall tiles you had a very limited choice. You could choose a 6 inch by 6 inch white wall tile, for your bathroom and a 6 inch by 6 inch white wall tile for your kitchen. Some suppliers even sold border tiles, and some suppliers flying too close to the sun sold the same size wall tiles in cream or even brown (Those crazy trailblazers).
Thankfully those days are over, and now customers have an unlimited choice of tiles, styles, materials, size, and price. Here at Posh Tiles by Anfield Marble we stock over 300 tiles in our Liverpool tile showroom so know how difficult it can be to select a tile or style.
At the end of the day it is you the customer that makes the final decision, I will give you as much technical and installation advice as I can, but customers generally follow their own style ideals. It may be something you have seen in a magazine, or TV programme. To that end I have put together a few creative wall tiles ideas for you to have a look at.
Mix Travertine Wall Tiles With Wood Effect Tiles
Travertine floor and wall tiles are one of the most popular types of tiles for bathrooms, and for good reason, travertine tiles match most types of bathroom furniture both modern, and traditional. Professional tilers have been installing travertine for many years so are well versed in its intricacies.
However if you feel that a bathroom with both floors and walls tiled in the same hue can look a bit samey, then why not mix it up with something completely different. Here classic travertine wall tiles are paired with a dark wood effect porcelain tile to great effect, giving a more modern look and matching well with the modern bathroom furniture.
Dark Grey Wall Tiles Make a Modern Statement
The chances are your new bathroom will feature a white suite, so what better way to show off the clean crisp lines of your new bathroom furniture than with dark floor and wall tiles. Black can be a little intimidating for some, but grey seems to tick all the boxes, modern, clean, crisp. Why not pair your new grey bathroom with a single accent colour like red, or orange, or even pink? Here wall tiles like our Roma Nero Dark Stone Effect Tiles are paired with a square lighter grey floor tile like our Valentia Grigio Floor & Wall Tiles and a modern white bathroom suite.
Wall Tiles In Your Living Room?
You do not need to live in a modern apartment to get the latest living room trend of using wall tiles for a feature wall. Now this style is probably not going to work in your average 2up 2down but if you have an open plan living space with lots of light then its definitely something to consider. Check out our range of grey wall tiles to see if its a look you can achieve for your home.
